Almost half (45%) of UK adults lack confidence when managing their money. 

‘The Money Minute’ is an email campaign increasing member engagement and reactivation rates for Credit Karma by providing high-quality educational content straight to their inbox.

Each Money Minute email featured educational content aligning with the monthly theme and linked to three educational articles on the Credit Karma ‘Learn’ hub for members to delve deeper into the content. 

The core ambitions of ‘The Money Minute’: 

  • Educate our members on how to utilise Credit Karma products – balance transfer cards, credit cards and personal loans 

  • Provide explanations of common terminology, insights and guidance to help members make financial progress

  • Help members understand how Credit Karma works, alleviating pressure on customer service

  • Show members that, as a business, Credit Karma is putting members’ needs first – especially in a period where they were ramping up their evergreen revenue strategy 

The results? 242,000 inactive Credit Karma UK members were reactivated within the first month (21% over target), resulting in an estimated £199K revenue. In Canada, we saw a 31% increase in login rates
